Job Description

Geoclima is a global chiller manufacturer focused on high efficiency and eco-sustainability, our US operation is looking for a full-time service & aftersales technician, the right candidate will be independently supporting our present and future installations from commissioning, troubleshooting, training and occasional repairs & maintenance. In addition the right candidate will also be involved in the technical sales as support.

This is an exciting opportunity for a tech/engineer with HVAC/R experience and wants to support our innovative product nationwide at the manufacturer level, the role isn’t a typical hands-on technician role, it will be mostly office based as the troubleshooting is performed in remote, however travel will be required to perform startups and occasional repairs.

Full training at our Headquarters in Italy will be provided.

Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To

· Equipment startups & commissioning

· Provide guidance to customers as to the operation and maintenance of their equipment

· Equipment training as required to our representatives or local contractors

· Remote technical support to our network of representatives

· After Sale support and troubleshooting with Geoclima’s service & monitoring tools

· Commissioning, Maintenance, Repairs and Operation reports to customers

· Inventory management and fulfilment as required

· Equipment maintenance as needed

· Sales support & equipment selections as required

· Promote the sale of add-on work or service agreements

Qualifications

· High School diploma or GED equivalent

· At least 2 years experience in HVAC/Refrigeration service

· Light commercial experience required, chiller as asset

· EPA Certification: Type II or Universal

· Danfoss Turbocor compressor experience or general understanding an asset

· Technical aptitude to perform startup, service, and troubleshoot equipment

· Excellent customer service skills

· Good electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills

· Ability to work independently and self-schedule

· Self-motivated to complete assigned tasks within time constraints

· Driven to succeed and able to work with minimum supervision

· Computer skills & MS Office basics required

· US and Canada travel required
