Job Description

Immediate opening in Avondale, PA for an experienced HVAC Technician. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for servicing and repairing our HVAC systems. You will be required to  identify and  improve our HVAC needs. We have  commercial  HVAC systems, so you must know how to work large HVAC equipment. You will also be responsible for the service installation to end-of-life by performing maintenance, warranty, and emergency repairs.

HVAC Technician Duties & Responsibilities:

• Identifying system equipment and system repairs or replacements needed.
• Installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment
• Managing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems
• Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, and performing warranty services
• Performing repairs and maintenance
• Participate in a technical training
• Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act
• Complying with service standards, work instructions, and customers’ requirements
• Ability to cut, thread, gas weld and connect pipe to components of the HVAC system
• Ability to assemble structural components such as motors, controls, gauges, wiring, compressors etc.

HVAC Technician Requirements:

• 3 years experience with industrial controls – reading schematic diagrams. or 10 years field experience in HVAC
• Current HVAC Certification
• EPA Type II (Preferred)
• Refrigerate License
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable and self-motivated
• Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating
• Working knowledge of boiler systems
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
• Bilingual Preferred but not necessary
• Ability to work after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays with short or no notice if needed
• Ability to work in confined spaces
• Pay negotiable based on knowledge and experience
