Refrigeration Service Technician:

Immediate opening at a THRIVING Commercial Refrigeration / Food Equipment Service Company located in Norwood, MA. We provide service to clients across New England but our primary clientele are based in MA, RI and Southern NH. We’re a family owned company since 1991 and we specialize in the service, maintenance, installation and repair of restaurant equipment and refrigeration, including but not limited to: Walk In’s, Reach-In’s, Ice Machines, Ranges, Ovens, Toasters, Grilles, Mixers, Slicers, Dish Machines, etc. Our technicians are in constant contact with refrigerant, gas, steam, electric and electronics. If you are more confident in one of these aspects, that’s OK. We are looking to expand our team with dedicated, full-time, sharp, and ultimately motivated technicians.

Essential Duties:

– Troubleshoot and repair equipment w/ written, detailed, documentation
– Perform Installations & Preventive Maintenance work on equipment
– Troubleshoot and accurately diagnose service problems with equipment
– Repair equipment to operate at MFG specifications

– Provide clear, detailed proposals to clients when needed
– Install all replacement components
– Have a good working knowledge of the services we offer and provide
– Communicate well with customers and coworkers
– Complete multiple maintenance tasks on refrigeration equipment
– Receive work orders and respond to requests in a timely manner

Compensation: 50K-90K+

Requirements Qualified Candidates MUST meet this criteria:
– Clean driving record
– Flexible personal schedule to handle “on-call” duties once every 2 months
– Exhibit strong technical aptitude in Refrigeration and / or Commercial Food Equipment
– Minimum 5-7 years in the Food Service / Refrigeration Industry
– Display a desire to learn, achieve and grow with our company over time
