Job Description

Responsible for Operations and Sales of all Service-related functions for AC Corporation with the end goal of maximizing profits while retaining and adding customers and developing and managing team. Must possess basic understanding of HVAC systems.

Typical Duties

Oversee and provide guidance for the various departments within service. These departments consist of Building Controls, Centrifugal, and general service for Greensboro, Winston-Salem and Raleigh, NC.
Assist Operations Managers with day to day activities.
Overall P&L responsibility with service group
Design, develop, manage and continually evaluate service workflow.
Oversee all administrative functions.
Resolve customer contract disputes.
Manage Service Sales and Marketing: Provide direction for our Sales effort that matches the technical expertise of the technicians. Promote positive communication between sales and operations and make sure goals are the same. Provide technical input at Customer meetings.
Oversee and control liability issues involving the wording of contracts and quotes from a technical aspect and rewrite “open ended” specifications.
Oversee and control safety issues regarding quotes, work sold in contracts, and customer requests.
Intercompany: Provide technical, quoting and estimating support, job start-up support for Project Managers and the Engineering staff.
Participate in recruiting needs and constantly evaluate current staff and training needs.

Qualifications
Prefer at least 15 years of proven leadership experience within an HVAC Service Department/Division
Ideal candidate has sales and technical experience
Efficient with MS Office and familiarity with industry related business software
Must have outstanding communication skills
