Job Description
Our Divisional Marketing Manager (DMM) is actively involved in the development and implementation of programs in line with the strategic goals of the assigned Division, and will work to promote, execute, monitor and measure the effectiveness of each program. The DMM will be the Marketing Department’s direct source of communication to the Florida Division, Regions and Territory Managers throughout the Company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop, manage, and execute marketing plans and strategies for the division to increase awareness, brand preference, and lead generation.
Formulate, direct, and coordinate marketing activities and policies to promote products and services.
Develop and evaluate divisional budgets.
Work closely with Territory Managers to improve their knowledge of marketing programs and to help convert key accounts.
Coordinate and participate in promotional activities, including trade shows, open houses, factory tours, boot camps, grand openings and dealer meetings.
Consult with Divisional, Regional and Sales Center Managers in the development of local marketing strategies advertising plans and center merchandising.
Build relationships with vendors and help in promotion of their products.
Assist Product Managers on execution of specific promotions and new product launches.
Liaise with vendors and internal departments to determine training needs
Develop regional advertising, specific to Ad Clubs, and explore opportunities with alternative channels including social media.
Communicate, champion and track special promotions and contests
Regional travel as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field OR equivalent industry experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a sales or marketing position.
Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC industry preferred.
Proven record of implementing marketing strategy plans.
Intermediate to expert knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills.
Ability to develop strategic solutions.
Persuasion and conflict resolution skills required.
Strong team player, but ability to work independently as well.
Organized and detail-oriented.
Strong public speaking skills for impactful presentations.
Goal-oriented.
Ability to travel 50% of time in assigned region. Ideally candidate would work from the Sarasota, Ft. Myers, Tampa, or Orlando area.
