Job Description
We are a Manufacturer’s Representative Company selling quality HVAC and Hydronic Heating products in the New York and New Jersey area since 1968. The Company provides products, service and innovative solutions to Consulting Engineers, Mechanical Contractors and Wholesale Distributors. Currently, the Company is seeking to fill a sales position covering New York City and Northern New Jersey.
SALES Engineer (Representative)
The Sales Representative’s business objective is to grow the Company’s business through existing customers and to identify and secure sales from new customers. Responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to the following:
• Build and manage long term customer relationships/partnerships with Mechanical and Plumbing Engineers and Mechanical and Plumbing Contractors.
• Increase the volume and expand the types of products existing clients and customers specify and purchase while assuring customer satisfaction.
• Initiate and close all sales opportunities.
•Identify and cultivate new business contacts and opportunities.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree is preferred but not required.
• A minimum of ten (10) years experience in the HVAC industry is required.
• College Degree is required.
• Excellent initiative and interpersonal communications skills as well as computer literacy.
• Ability to promote our products and assist Mechanical and Plumbing Engineers and Mechanical and Plumbing Contractors so that our products are successfully specified and purchased.
