Job Description

Blackburn College, a unique four-year liberal arts college with a student-managed work program located in Carlinville, IL, seeks applications for the position of HVAC Supervisor.  The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the heating, air-conditioning and related mechanicals throughout the campus facilities.  Since all HVAC is controlled with an energy management system the successful candidate must have significant computer and digital controls knowledge and experience.  The position requires a demonstrated ability to teach and guide a crew of students in the development of the essential skills to carry out the routine maintenance of HVAC equipment.  As a member of a small and dedicated professional maintenance staff the successful candidate must be team oriented and serve in a rotating on-call capacity for after hours and weekend emergencies and service.   Due to the on-all requirements of the position, the successful candidate will agree to live within 30 miles from Campus.
