Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy commercial and industrial climate control systems. You will handle everything from rooftop units (RTUs) and air handlers, condensers, start up, copper installation, possibly some building controls.

Core Responsibilities

• Diagnose & Repair: Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and airflow issues on commercial systems.
• Preventative Maintenance: Execute routine service checks, filter changes, and system optimizations.
• Refrigerant Management: Handle and recover refrigerants safely and in strict compliance with EPA regulations.
• Read Blueprints: Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer service manuals.
• Customer Service: Communicate professional, clear technical explanations and recommendations to business clients.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of dedicated commercial or industrial HVAC service experience.
• Certification: Valid EPA Universal Certification is strictly required.
• Licensing: Valid driver’s license with a clean, insurable driving record.
• Technical Skills: Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical diagnostics, brazing, and air balance.
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work safely on rooftops in varied weather.
