HVAC FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
To develop and support service processes and repair procedures, for commercial HVAC installation,construction and service. Performs preventative maintenance, troubleshoots and repairs commercial HVAC equipment (up to 25 tons), residential exhaust fans, vehicle vacuum systems and other systems as designated.
Able to troubleshoot and correctly diagnose electrical, control and mechanical failures and problems.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE :The qualified candidate will have experience that includes a minimum of 5 years service or service/construction related duties, commercial preferred. Experience with pneumatic and DDC control systems, including chillers, generators, and boilers, HVAC (split and packaged) air handlers and exhaust fans. Completion of a 4-year apprenticeship or related technical training preferred. EPA Universal Technical Certification required. Basic computer skills. Must be able to present an acceptable driving record.
