EXPERIENCED COMMERCIAL REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN JOB DESCRIPTION

Commercial Refrigeration Technician

*** Responsibilities ***

• Responsible for Installation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance services for commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems
• Commercial/industrial customers include restaurant equipment, convenience stores, cold storage facilities, distributing companies, and super market refrigeration
• Troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC systems to including split systems, chillers air handling systems, oil- and gas-fired commercial boilers, and control systems
• Some work with commercial refrigeration air conditioning piping, leak-testing, evacuation, start-up and commissioning of systems at times
• Also work with food service preparation equipment
• Ability to work with tablet-based service ticket software system
• Perform preventative maintenance service for contract customers
• Ability to work overtime as needed

*** Qualifications ***

• 5 years of commercial refrigeration experience
• Commercial HVAC service and replacement experience a plus
• Food service equipment experience a plus
• Knowledge of control systems and wiring
• EPA certification
• Journeyman
• Professional, ethical, and a team player willing to grow with the company
