Job description

This is a full-time role for a Traveling Field Service Technician located in East Dundee, IL. The Field Service Technician (90-95% travel) will be responsible for traveling to various client sites to install, maintain, and troubleshoot cooling and temperature control systems. The Technician will also provide on-site training to clients on system operation and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial cooling and temperature control systems
• Technical skills in mechanical and electrical systems
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and travel extensively
• Knowledge of PLC programming is a plus
• Knowledge in tools and their functions

Duties When in the Office

• Service units that have been returned for repair
• Write detailed reports of each customer visit for customer and internal usage
• File expense reports through Concur for travel expenses

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Supplemental Pay:

• Company credit card for all expenses
• Per Diem pay for every day in the Field $50 a day within the U.S. and Canada, $70 a day in Mexico and Latin America
