HVAC/Control Technician

Roles and Responsibilities
•Performs regular preventative maintenance on existing systems including routine corrective repairs and routine inspections
•Startup system and test for leaks using testing devices
•Troubleshoot operations failures and re-establish system services
•Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation or heat pump systems
•Recharge system with refrigerant, check and test regulators, calibrate system and perform routine maintenance or servicing
•Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components
•Maintain Building Automation Systems
•Other duties as assigned
Required Skills •Ability to understand Building Automation Systems/Install/Troubleshoot
•Excellent customer service skills
•Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
•Clear and effective communication skills
•Ability to learn on the job
•Meticulous attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
•Capacity to take direction and instructions
•Prioritize workloads and utilize planning & time management skills to adhere to strict deadlines
•Willingness to mentor apprentices and lead by example
Required Experience •HVAC Certification
•5+ years of HVAC experience
•3+ years of Control Experience (preferred)
•EPA Certification Required
•Oregon Limited Energy Tech –Class A or B Required
•Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
