HVAC Supervisor

The City of Sacramento Department of Public Works, Facilities Division, is recruiting for an HVAC Supervisor.

The ideal candidate for HVAC supervisor will have a strong background in HVAC Systems maintenance practices and  HVAC controls. A general understanding of construction is desired but not required.  Individuals successful in this role will possess a combination of interpersonal and management skills, be approachable, and have a confident and supportive personality. The ideal candidate will possess the skills to schedule work, train employees, and give performance feedback including both positive and constructive criticism.

The ideal candidate will be able to convey department goals and daily expectations to their team, as well as communicate updates and status reports to upper management. The HVAC Supervisor will be able to delegate tasks efficiently to appropriate employees, recognizing individuals’ strengths and weaknesses.

Hourly salary: $32.73 – $54.31 DOE

Recruitment period:  May 28, 2022 – July 2, 2022
