The Coca-Cola Customer Care Team installs, repairs, removes and replaces vending machines, fountain equipment and coolers to ensure our products are readily available and meet the highest quality standards possible for customer consumption.
The Coca-Cola Customer Care Team in Houston, TX (Bissonnet) has an immediate need to fill a Refrigeration Technician. – Responsible for performing mechanical & refrigeration services on drink equipment
– Maneuver equipment in order to perform all mechanical services on drink equipment including preventative maintenance
– Keep all refrigeration equipment in proper operating condition
– Prepare equipment in accordance with company standards
– Ensure vehicle has appropriate levels of parts inventory and manage inventory to Company standards
– Work with supervisor and planning teams to solve equipment issues
– Keep accurate records of weight of various refrigerants use in repair services
– Maintain clean and safe work area- adhere to all safety rules and regulations
– Maintain positive customer relationships by servicing customers and by providing product and service information; resolving product and service problems
– High school diploma or GED required
– Refrigeration/HVAC trade or vocational certification preferred
– 1+ years of refrigeration/HVAC experience preferred
– Universal Refrigeration certificate
– Must possess a universal- EPA Refrigeration Certification
– I-Fountain or Best certification preferred
– Plumbing and electro/mechanical experience preferred
– 0-3 Years of General Plumbing and technical experience
– 1-3 Years of refrigeration repair experience
– Prior Diagnostic troubleshooting & refrigeration skills
– Valid Driver’s License and driving record within MVR policy guidelines
– Must be able to pass a Department of Transportation physical and/or have a valid DOT Medical Card
– Must be able to work flexible shifts/hours, as well as required overtime
– Demonstrate customer service, mechanical, technical, electrical aptitude
– Computer Skills necessary to successfully utilize required software application (e.g. Microsoft, Outlook, Service Power, etc.)
– Maintain positive customer relationships by servicing customers and by providing product and service information; resolving product and service problems
– Listens effectively and develops relationships with customers
– Strong detail orientation, follow up and organizational skills
– Customer service experience preferred
– Ability to use hand tools, safety glasses, gloves and other PPE as required
– Capable of independent thinking and decision making. Requires minimal supervision. Self-starter, self-motivated, and reliable. Innovative as needed to achieve desired results.
– Capable of contributing positive results both individually and as a team
– Self reliable, capable of making logical decisions without constant guidance and supervision
– Must be able to effectively communicate information and ideas both orally and in writing
– Must be able function in various work environments
