Job Description

Candidate will be working in a cold climate environment around various production teams and equipment to help maintain facility heating and air conditioning needs. The technician will work under and train with the senior HVAC Manager to help maintain proper operation and preventative maintenance upkeep of heating and cooling equipment. Technician will follow all PPE and safety requirements outlined for a food production environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities include:
• Installing and repair various air quality systems
• Locating and diagnosing maintenance issues on related equipment
• Completing preventative maintenance work orders to ensure equipment upkeep.
• Performing emergency repairs when needed
• Ordering and maintaining appropriate parts and materials as needed to maintain equipment.
• Removing old systems and installing new
• Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams
• Understanding and the ability to demonstrate refrigeration cycling.
• Interpreting technical data such as pressure and temperature

Education/Training/Experience:
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Section 608 or 609 certified
• Must be able to read prints and schematics.
• 5 Years of HVAC related experience
