Job Description

The University of Alaska, Matanuska-Susitna College (MSC) in Palmer, Alaska, is accepting applications for an Assistant Professor of Refrigeration and Heating. In addition to the standard mix of vacation, sick leave, retirement, and health insurance, the benefits package includes a tuition waiver for employees and immediate family that is accepted at all UA Campuses. Start Date: Aug 10, 2020. Union Representation: This position is represented by United Academics-AAUP/AFT.

Candidates will be evaluated on suitability of their education and technical training, industry certifications, past teaching experiences, expertise and experience in the HVACR field, and potential for providing high-quality instruction to students in assigned courses at Mat-Su College.
Minimum Requirements: Must have a minimum of an AAS in HVAC/R or a related field; Must have an EPA Section 608 Universal Certification; Must have a minimum of 3 years of field experience in HVAC/R.
