This is a part-time, continuing position working 28 hours per week. Schedule will be determined between successful candidate and the hiring department.

 

987919 – Custodial Worker INR (part-time, intermittent) – Custodial Services – $15.30

This is a part-time, intermittent, on-call, as needed position. Schedule will be determined between successful candidate and the hiring department.

 

996676 – Stationary Engineer – Power House$24.33-$25.40 (6-month rate) Opportunity: Directs, operates, and maintains powerhouse equipment on an assigned shift. Reports to Manager, Power Plant or other designated supervisor. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Formal training in stationary engineer program (or equivalent training or experience which provides comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities).

 

986941- HVAC Trainee – Repair of Buildings – Kent Campus – Kent, OH

Opportunity to assist with a limited range of HVAC maintenance and installation under immediate supervision. Assists with minor servicing and simple installation of air conditioning and heating units. Reports to HVAC Supervisor or other designated supervisor. Minimum qualifications: A minimum of two years skilled work experience in one or a combination of the following areas: carpentry, electrical, plumbing, or heating/air conditioning (or equivalent combination of education and experience which provides comparable knowledge, skills and abilities). Ability to satisfactorily participate in and pass an HVAC certificate program.  Must be able to use a respirator and demonstrate the ability to work in high places or confined spaces. May be called to work in emergency situations. Requires on and off-campus travel. Trainees must participate in an approved apprenticeship program, during working hours. It is anticipated this will include 2 days of classroom time a week for one year, and 4 years of on the job training.
